Cyberlink's "PowerDVD 10 Ultra 3D" is a dream come true for Samsung legacy DLP 3D-Ready HDTV owners . When full bluray-3d arrived our DLP 3D-Ready sets were said to be obsolete. Then Mitsubishi came up with an adapter, the 3DC-1000, for their HDTVs. Samsung said there would be no adapter for their legacy 3D-Ready hdtv made in 2008-2009. The good news is Cyberlink's "PowerDVD 10 Ultra 3D," run from your pc with a bluray optical drive, plays back full bluray-3d discs beautifully in the necessary checkerboard format! I have a 2009 Samsung 3D-Ready plasma, the PN50B450, and I watch full bluray-3d discs via my computer, "PowerDVD 10 Ultra 3D" software ($99), and an emitter and shutter glasses from Tridef [...]

I replaced WinDVD 9 with PowerDVD 10 Ultra. The process of download and setup was a dream compared with WinDVD. Blu-ray movies play in the drive flawlessly. If I had checked out the program by way of the free trial before I bought a blu-ray player for the computer I would have saved $200.
