I bought the iBert Seat & a toddler helmet for my husband's birthday so he could take our grandson riding. My husband easily installed the seat and took our 21 month old grandson for his first ride. Both my husband & our grandson love riding together! They go riding almost everyday and stop at parks and friends' homes. This is an excellent seat (as opposed to one mounted behind the bike operator) and I would highly recommend it to anyone considering buying a child bicycle seat. How wonderful that the child can see everything not just the operator's back. It has created a very special "together time" for our grandson and his loving grandfather! This is a great product. My toddler son has been fascinated with bikes for months. We bought a nice bike trailer, but after 2 rides, he refused to get in. He couldn't see much, couldn't interact with me, and couldn't hear me. After reading reviews we got the iBert. Installation was a snap, and it easily fits both his Mommy's bike & mine. My son LOVES this seat. He now wakes every day excitedly saying "Buhk buh, Buhk buh!!" which means "bike ride, bike ride!!" On our rides he is very engaged, pointing out things along the way and talking to me as I talk to him. We've gone on dozens of rides--he insists on it daily--and had no problems whatsoever. My only caution would be: always wear helmets, and take great care to avoid accidents, as the location of the seat would not make for good protection of the head and neck from injury.

Had some trepidations about ordering this without being able to test it first. Turns out it works very well for me and my son, but I can see how something like this is going to really depend on your bike and how long your legs are. I can happy ride with this seat attached without adjusting my posture whatsoever or my knees hitting it; however, someone with legs a few inches longer than mine (I'm 5'9") on my bike might feel cramped. There is also *just* enough room to slide my son's legs into the seat; if he were built a little differently or if my handlebars were lower he wouldn't fit.
Over I recommend and love the product, but you may want to buy it from someplace with a liberal return policy in case it doesn't work for you.

I love this bike seat! It enables me to bike with two children on my bike: one in a bike seat on the back, luggage rack, and one in the front. It is very sturdy and my 20 month old daughter, who is already 33.5 inches tall, fist nicely in it with still some room to spare.
